Specifications, X-Stream technology, control, installation, durability, and warranty — the technical detail that informs spec.

X-Stream is LEDCTRL's premium communication and power-delivery platform, designed for high-speed data transmission, exceptional reliability, and superior visual performance across large-scale architectural installs. It combines high-speed PWM data transmission, intelligent dual-channel signal redundancy, advanced 8/12/14/16-bit dimming, and integrated power management.

  • Up to 96 m of continuous LXB on a single power and data feed (standard mode).
  • Built-in PSU and data booster integrated into every fixture — no intermediate cabinets, no break in the run.
  • Data booster supports up to 100 m between fixtures for distributed installs.

X-Stream uses dual-channel signal transmission with intelligent fault detection. If a pixel or node fails, the system automatically bypasses it and continues data transmission with no visible disruption.

  • Dual signal channels with real-time monitoring
  • Fault identification accuracy > 99%
  • No manual addressing — auto-addressing means fixtures can be installed in any order
  • 8 / 12 / 14 / 16-bit dimming options — up to 65,536 levels of greyscale.
  • Built-in gamma correction (8-bit to 16-bit equivalent) for seamless 0–100% dimming.
  • Refresh rates up to 16 kHz — flicker-free up to 533 FPS on camera, suitable for media facades and broadcast environments.

X-Stream is the platform for our pixel-mapped, addressable ranges — LXB, LXD, LXDM, PUX, BXG, BXS, FXN, FXP RGB/RGBW, FXM, FXT, SMX. Static-white and tunable-white modes also support DMX, DALI, 0–10 V, or SPI depending on the chipset and configuration.

Architectural Façade
Australia Square Tower — façade illuminated by BXG24 architectural grazers
01 Façade Lighting Upgrade

Australia Square

Australia Square, one of Sydney’s most iconic commercial towers designed by Harry Seidler, underwent a striking façade lighting upgrade in 2023. The project aimed to highlight the building’s clean vertical geometry while reinforcing its landmark presence within the city skyline.

BXG24 grazers were specified for tight beam control and uniform output, with X-Stream pixel control enabling colour tuning for special events.
