01 · The Problem

Long facade runs mean cabinets, risers, and penetrations.

Standard linear LED systems break long runs into short segments — each needing its own driver, data drop, and building penetration. On a tall facade, that compounds quickly into cabinets every few floors and weeks of cabling labour before the lights even turn on.

  • Multiple drivers
  • Repeated penetrations
  • Manual addressing
02 · The X-Stream Answer

Built-in PSU. Built-in data booster. Built-in redundancy.

X-Stream® runs on the UCS7604 driver IC with intelligent dual-channel signal transmission. Each LXB ships with a 100–277 V AC PSU and a long-distance booster integrated into the fixture — and if a node ever fails, the system bypasses it automatically with no visible disruption.

  • 14 W / metre
  • UCS7604 chipset
  • Dual-channel redundancy
  • Plug-and-play addressing
03 · The Payoff

96 metres. One feed. Two controllers per tower.

X-Stream supports continuous runs of up to 96 m of linear product on a single power and data feed, with the data booster extending up to 100 m between fixtures. At Meriton Parramatta, just two PX24 controllers on the roof drive the entire vertical facade.

  • 96 m max run
  • 100 m booster span
  • 2× PX24 per tower

Applications

LXB Linear Pixel Bar Range · Common Use Cases

01

Architectural Façades

Vertical accent lines, edge treatments, and full-perimeter outlining of high-rise towers and apartment buildings. 96 m runs on a single feed cover entire facades without intermediate cabinets.

02

Roofline & Crown Lighting

Continuous edge runs along parapets, roofcaps, and crown details. The Roofline housing is purpose-built for top-of-building installs where the fixture is viewed from below.

03

Pixel-Mapped Media Façades

Low-resolution video, generative pattern, and brand activations across building skins. X-Stream’s 16 Mbps data path keeps thousands of pixels in sync without flicker, even for camera-facing applications.

04

Bridges & Infrastructure

Long linear edge lighting on bridges, tunnels, and pedestrian causeways. IP66 build, IK07 channel impact rating, and 50,000 hour L70 source life suit demanding outdoor installs.

05

Stadiums & Venues

Concourse lines, perimeter accents, and dynamic colour wash for sports and entertainment venues. RGBW + dynamic-white configurations let a single product cover game-day branding and ambient lighting.
